Every spring and fall, Comic Logic Books and Artwork hosts Lot Con. This outdoor event fills their parking lot with a wide range of artists, authors, and vendors. It’s family and pet-friendly, featuring art and collectibles from many fandoms.
I will be back at Lot Con 2026 on May 17 from 12 to 4 pm.
Special guest Phillip Kennedy Johnson will also be there, signing comic books from 12 to 3 pm!
For me, Lot Con is a great chance to catch up with my comic book friends, who I don’t see as often as I’d like. This year, I can also promote my new audiobook for The Insistence of Memory.

An Annual Event
While Lot Con is now held every May and October, the fall date doesn’t always work with my schedule. Which is a shame because the fall event has added a Halloween theme with costumes and candy. However, I have attended every spring event.
Looking back through old photos reminded me that the very first Lot Con was in July 2021–and it was hot! That’s when Comic Logic decided to move the event to May and then add the second October event as well. Some years, I’ve paired up with my author friend Jonny Lupsha (Wandering City Blues, Penny Cavalier, and more).
For fun, here’s a look back at some pics from past years…

Comic Logic Lot Con 2026
Comic Logic supports local authors and artists through events like Lot Con and by selling their work in the shop. Visit the store to see amazing artwork and handcrafted items by local artists. There’s also a shelf for local authors, including me!
I hope to see you on Sunday, May 17!
