While I have mixed feelings about animals in captivity (especially exotics), I had a good time visiting a nearby animal park with some friends this weekend. Several animals were eager to be pet and fed. The more passive ones seemed comfortable and healthy. The kids were excited to see the animals, and I was excited to have pulled my camera out after a very, very long break from my photography hobby.
