As summer wraps up, it’s time to stock your shelves at some fall book events! I have a few events planned in September and October, including a pop-up signing that hasn’t been finalized but may be announced soon.
These are outdoor events, so there’s a chance of rain changing our plans. For updates, check my socials the day of the event: Instagram, Threads, or Facebook.
These are annual events that include many local authors. They are a lot of fun, family-friendly, and a great place to support the community.
September 12 – Blend Fall Book Fair – Blend Coffee Bar, Ashburn, VA
Blend Coffee Bar holds many year-round events, including book fairs in the spring and fall. They have a spacious patio and often host 40 to 50 authors spanning a wide range of genres. It’s an independently owned coffee shop with fantastic drinks, light fare, and desserts. Visit their website to learn more: Blend Coffee Bar
October 17 – Eat Local Read Local – Cascades Library LCPL, Potomac Falls, VA
This year will be the tenth annual Eat Local Read Local event. Hosted by the Loudoun County Public Library, this event features local authors, live music, and food trucks. It is held outdoors at Cascades Library under several large tents. More information, including a list of attending authors, will be available closer to the event. October 25 – Fall Lot Con – Comic Logic, Ashburn, VA
Lot Con at Comic Logic is about more than books. This mini con started during the pandemic, after most indoor events had been canceled. It’s held in the parking lot outside of Comic Logic (a local comic book shop) and features a range of artists, authors, and vendors for comic books and collectibles. Their author alley features local authors of various genres. Look for us along the sidewalk right next to the shop! Learn more about the shop here: Comic Logic Books and Artwork
